苦しみの原因は、欧州連合・EUが掲げる規約のなかに、
欧州連合の存在価値についてを謳った項目があります。
私は、ここに起因するのだと思います。
「連合は人間の尊厳に対する敬意、自由、民主主義、平等、法の支配、
マイノリティに属する権利を含む人権の尊重という価値観に基づいて設置されている。
これらの価値観は多元的共存、無差別、寛容、正義、結束、
女性と男性との間での平等が普及する社会において、加盟国に共通するものである。」

ドイツ人は、この規約を厳格に守ろうとするのだと思います。
この条文は、涙が出るほど素晴らしい。素晴らしすぎるので、窮屈なのです。
この条文の厳格適用でＥＵが揺れている気がします。
アメリカは、この規約に縛られないが、聖域都市は、連邦法を守らないと言う。
連邦法の「法の支配」を守らないで、 自由、民主主義、平等、
マイノリティに属する権利を含む人権の尊重などは守られるのだろうか？
世界は、「法の支配」を唱えるトランプ大統領を支持すべきである。
