Thank you for taking the time to send me your thoughts and suggestions. As President, I have promised to restore the rule of law in our country. The Department of Homeland Security and the brave men and women of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are vital in helping us accomplish this goal. Each day, these courageous Americans put themselves in harm’s way to protect our communities. Far too often, they receive little to no credit for helping to keep our country safe and secure. Today, I am proud to honor these special agents by hosting the “Salute to the Heroes of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs Border Protection” to recognize their service to our Nation. I encourage you to join me live from the East Room of the White House as we thank these incredible men and women for their hard work and sacrifice. Thank you again for your email.
