Earlier today, I was proud to sign an Executive Order for the President’s Roadmap to Empower Veterans and End a National Tragedy of Suicide, which will be called the PREVENTS Initiative. This roadmap, once implemented, will improve access to critical mental health and suicide prevention resources so that our brave service members and veterans, who have made remarkable sacrifices for our country, are better able to adjust back into civilian life.
Our Nation is forever indebted to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, and my Administration is committed to helping all of America’s veterans lead healthier, happier, and fuller lives upon return from the battlefield.
