Yesterday, President Trump and the Office of American Innovation hosted Foxconn at the White House for a technology manufacturing initiative announcement in the East Room. Foxconn will build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for the production of LCD panel products in Wisconsin. Today, President Trump will award the Public Safety Medal of Valor to two Capitol Police Special Agents and three Alexandria Police Officers who exhibited extraordinary valor above and beyond the call of duty. Last month, in Alexandria, Virginia, a cowardly attacker opened fire on a practice for the Congressional Baseball game. Fortunately, the brave first responders put the lives of their fellow Americans before their own and took down the attacker before any lives were lost. Watch live at 3pmEST
The Vice President will deliver remarks to the National Federation of Independent Business in the morning, and participate in a swearing-in ceremony for U.S. Ambassador to Japan William F. Hagerty IV later this afternoon.
